Payment Issues

Having trouble with your payment? Here are solutions to common problems.

Card Declined

Check Card Details

  1. Go to Account > Payment Methods
  2. Verify the card hasn't expired
  3. Make sure the billing ZIP code is correct

Try These Solutions

  • Re-enter your card — remove and add it again
  • Use a different card — try another payment method
  • Try Apple Pay — if you have it set up
  • Contact your bank — they may have blocked the transaction

Common Decline Reasons

Reason Solution
Insufficient funds Check your balance or use a different card
Expired card Update with a new card
Incorrect details Remove and re-enter the card
Bank security block Call your bank to approve the transaction

Payment Processing Error

If you see a "Payment failed" error:

  1. Wait a moment and try again
  2. Check your internet connection
  3. Close and reopen the app
  4. Try a different payment method

Charged But Order Didn't Go Through

If you were charged but didn't receive a confirmation:

  1. Check your email for a receipt
  2. Look in Order History for the order
  3. Wait a few minutes — sometimes there's a delay
  4. If the charge appears but no order exists, contact support

Pending Charges

You may see a pending charge that later disappears. This is a pre-authorisation that gets released if the order didn't complete.

Double Charged

  1. Check if one charge is a pending pre-authorisation (these drop off automatically)
  2. Look at your order history — do you have two separate orders?
  3. If it's truly a double charge, contact support with your order number, screenshots of both charges, and the dates and amounts

Refunds

  • Wrong order or missing items — contact the food truck directly first
  • Charged incorrectlycontact support

Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your card.

Apple Pay Issues

  1. Make sure Apple Pay is set up on your iPhone
  2. Check that your card in Apple Wallet is valid
  3. Try authorising with Face ID / Touch ID
  4. Use a saved card in EetEet as an alternative

Security Concerns

If you see unauthorised charges or suspect your account has been compromised:

  1. Change your password immediately
  2. Remove saved payment methods
  3. Contact support urgently
