Order Notifications¶
Get push notifications as your order progresses so you never miss when it's ready.
Types of Notifications¶
Order Placed¶
Sent when the food truck receives your order.
"Your order at Taco Express has been received!"
In Progress¶
Sent when the truck starts making your food.
"Taco Express is preparing your order!"
Order Ready¶
The most important one — your food is ready for pickup.
"Your order is ready! Head to Taco Express to pick it up."
Notification Settings¶
Enable Notifications¶
- When the app first asks, tap Allow
- Or enable later in iPhone Settings > EetEet > Notifications
Customize Notifications¶
Notification preferences are managed through your iPhone's Settings:
- Open Settings > EetEet > Notifications
- Adjust alerts, sounds, and badges
Sound and Vibration¶
Notifications use your iPhone's default sound settings. To change:
- Open Settings > EetEet > Notifications
- Adjust Sounds and Badges

Notification vs Live Activity¶
- Push notifications - Appear once, go to Notification Center
- Live Activity - Stays on lock screen, updates in real time
Both work together to keep you informed. For the best experience, keep both enabled.
