Getting Started¶
Is EetEet free to use?¶
Yes. EetEet is free to download and use. You only pay for the food you order.
What devices is EetEet available on?¶
EetEet is available for iPhone running iOS 18.0 or later.
Where is EetEet available?¶
EetEet is currently serving food trucks in Hilo, Hawaii. We're expanding to more locations soon.
Do I need an account to order?¶
No. You can browse and order as a guest. Creating an account lets you save favorites, track order history, and clip deals.
Ordering¶
How do I know if a food truck is open?¶
Open trucks show a green "Open" badge. Closed trucks appear grayed out. You can also filter to show only open trucks.
Can I schedule an order for later?¶
Currently, all orders are for immediate preparation.
What if an item is sold out?¶
Sold out items are marked on the menu. If an item sells out after you order, the truck will contact you.
Can I order from multiple trucks at once?¶
No. Each order goes to one food truck. Place separate orders for different trucks.
Is there a minimum order amount?¶
Minimum orders depend on the food truck. Some have no minimum, others may require a certain amount.
Payment¶
What payment methods do you accept?¶
We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and Apple Pay.
Is it safe to save my card?¶
Yes. Card details are encrypted and stored securely by Square, a trusted payment processor. Your full card number is never stored on our servers.
When am I charged?¶
You're charged when you place your order, before the food is prepared.
Can I get a refund?¶
Refunds are handled case by case. See Order Issues for details.
Orders & Pickup¶
How will I know when my order is ready?¶
You'll receive a push notification, and the order tracking screen will update to "Ready."
How long do orders take?¶
It varies by truck and how busy they are. Most orders are ready within 10-20 minutes.
What if I can't find the food truck?¶
Check the map in the app for their current location. Food trucks sometimes move slightly. See Pickup for help.
Can I cancel my order?¶
Orders are sent immediately to the truck and cannot be cancelled through the app. Contact the truck directly if you need to cancel.
Account¶
How do I reset my password?¶
Tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen and follow the email instructions. See Password for details.
Can I change my email address?¶
Yes. Go to Account > Edit Profile to update your email. You'll need to verify the new address.
Deals¶
How do deals work?¶
Browse deals, clip ones you like, and apply them at checkout. See Deals & Perks for details.
Why can't I use my deal?¶
Deals have requirements (minimum order, specific truck, etc.). Check the deal details to see if your order qualifies.
Do deals expire?¶
Yes. Each deal has an expiration date shown in the details.

Yes. All payments are processed by Square with industry-standard encryption.
