Passkeys (Face ID / Touch ID)¶
Sign in without typing a password.
What Are Passkeys?¶
Passkeys let you log in using Face ID or Touch ID. They're faster, more secure (can't be phished or stolen), and there's no password to remember.
Setting Up a Passkey¶
- Go to Account > Settings
- Tap Passkeys
- Tap Set Up Passkey
- Authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID
- Done — your passkey is saved
Signing In with a Passkey¶
- Open EetEet and tap Log In
- Tap Sign in with Passkey
- Use Face ID or Touch ID when prompted
Requirements¶
- iPhone with Face ID or Touch ID
- iOS 16 or later
- Passkeys enabled in your Apple ID settings
Managing Passkeys¶
View your passkeys in Account > Settings > Passkeys. To remove one, tap it and select Delete Passkey.
Passkeys and iCloud Keychain¶
Your passkeys are stored in iCloud Keychain and sync across your Apple devices.
Can I Still Use My Password?¶
Yes. Passkeys are an alternative, not a replacement. You can always log in with your email and password.
Troubleshooting¶
"Passkey not found" — make sure you set up a passkey on this device and that iCloud Keychain is enabled.
Face ID / Touch ID not working — check that biometrics are set up in iPhone Settings, or try using your password instead.
