Welcome to EetEet! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EetEet mobile application and services ("Service") operated by EetEet Inc. ("we", "us", or "our").
By using EetEet, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Using EetEet¶
Eligibility¶
You must be at least 13 years old to use EetEet. If you're under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
Your Account¶
- You're responsible for maintaining your account security
- Don't share your login credentials
- You're responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of unauthorised access
Acceptable Use¶
You agree not to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Interfere with the Service's operation
- Attempt to access others' accounts
- Use the Service for fraudulent purposes
- Abuse, harass, or harm others
- Upload inappropriate content
Orders and Payments¶
Placing Orders¶
- Orders are placed directly with independent food trucks
- We facilitate the transaction but are not the food vendor
- Prices and availability are set by food trucks
- Orders are confirmed when payment is processed
Payments¶
- You authorise charges to your payment method
- All sales are final once the order is confirmed
- Tips go directly to food trucks
Refunds¶
- Refund policies vary by situation
- Contact support for refund requests
- We reserve the right to refuse refunds for misuse
Food Trucks¶
Food trucks on EetEet are independent businesses. We don't control their food quality, set their prices, employ their staff, or guarantee their availability.
Food trucks are responsible for their own food safety, accurate menu descriptions, customer service, and compliance with local regulations.
Content¶
Your Content¶
When you upload photos or other content:
- You grant us a licence to display it in the app
- You confirm you have the right to share it
- You agree to follow our Photo Guidelines
Our Content¶
All EetEet content (design, text, graphics, logos) is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
Disclaimers¶
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DON'T GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE, ACCURACY OF INFORMATION FROM FOOD TRUCKS, FOOD QUALITY OR SAFETY, OR AVAILABILITY OF SPECIFIC TRUCKS OR ITEMS.
Limitation of Liability¶
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EETEET IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, FOOD-RELATED ILLNESS OR INJURY, LOST PROFITS OR DATA, OR ISSUES WITH FOOD TRUCKS. OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER IN QUESTION.
Indemnification¶
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, content you submit, or your interactions with food trucks.
Changes to Terms¶
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll notify you of significant changes.
Termination¶
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, abuse of the Service, or extended inactivity.
To delete your account, contact our support team.
General¶
Governing Law¶
These Terms are governed by California law.
Dispute Resolution¶
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
Entire Agreement¶
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and EetEet.
Severability¶
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
